Our first night, I mean literally we left the reception in Ogden at around 10, we had to check into our hotel by 10:45 or we'd lose our reservation. We stayed at the Castle Creek Inn in the Salt Lake Valley. We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet Room. It was romantic, I don't think we got any sleep! :) The next morning we got up late, but made it to the breakfast room to stock up on drinks (even though we had to drink most of them on the way to the airport, with their new security precautions, can't bring anything onto the plane more than 3oz! Lame!) Since we were riding on standby- Thank you Dustin! we didn't have to be quite so early to the airport.
We flew to San Diego, a friend of my parents own a condo there, staying there for free made our trip incredibly cheap! Here is a picture of at least the living room, of the condo we stayed in, the beach was about a mile away. We didn't get out much....
San Diego was warm the first two days, 80 degrees, then by the last 3 days it was rainy and cold, 52-45 degrees. We went to the Beach, the first time Jeff had ever been to the Pacific beach and the water was freezing, so we collected some rocks to add. Also, we went to Disneyland, Not our best use of money or time, if we had known what California Adventure was all about we would have chose that one instead. However, it was fun nonetheless. Being with Jeff at an amusement park is always fun! Disneyland did however bring out the kid in us.
we went to the "Pirates of the Carribean" Island where Jeff stood inside the skeleton basket, I think he's kissing a skeleton head!
Just looking as sexy as ever! haha... he asked me to "do sexy"... I don't know what I did, but he liked it... so I guess I did good! :)
Even though it was in the middle of the week, cold, and rainy, Disneyland was crowded! the wait time for most of the rides were 20min to 45min long! Once we got inside the attraction, it was somewhat disappointing! not nearly as big, exciting, or awesome as I remember as a child, but they never are are they.? Jeff had a good time, not thoroughly impressed, but together we had a great time!
While in San Diego, we went to a few outdoor museums and traveled around the city, we didnt' feel like paying so we didn't do anything that cost money, so we walked around a lot.... I was not so much in the mood to walk, walk, and walk. I'd rather been inside learning, exploring, and getting to know my husband!

I suppose if we grew up and were still into "Disney" cartoons, movies, and characters, Disneyland probably would have been a heck of a lot funner! We didn't hear much about California Adventure, which I guess is the more "adult" version of Disneyland. Maybe next time if we have the option to go to Disneyland again, we'll choose the other.

Our Last day in San Diego, we went to the LDS Temple, so so beautiful. We were asked to be the witness couple and they couldn't believe we were at the temple on our honeymoon. Shoot, why not? The inside is just as immaculate as the outside, if not more so.
Even after we got back to Logan; which it had snowed while we were gone, we were still in the "honeymoon" stage. Yes, Jeff went back to school while I stayed at home and unpacked, got the house to feel more like a home, looked for a job, read lots of books, etc.. I kept myself busy.
