Well well, the kiddo is just over 2mo old and he is doing great! Monday April 11 we went to the Dr, and he is right on schedule!
11 lbs 6 oz 55 percentile
25 inches long 98 percentile
He got his shots, he did surprisingly very well, didn't like being poked, and those Dr. offices are so cold, especially when they make me strip him down to just his diaper, I'd be crying too! However, he didn't cry for very long, made me feel good as a new mom, that after holding him for a few seconds he calmed down, yea I finally have the gift!
Lately he has been especially good, sleeping through the night, however some nights I do get up around 5:30 or 6am to feed him, I'm glad we're both getting good sleep. The other night he went to bed at 10:30pm and got up at 10:30am... wow, that was AMAZING!
Pumping has been successful. Bottle feeding is a success. He is just a happy little boy who jibber jabbers a lot and who squeals! it is so cute! We've been playing copy cat a lot, so when I smile he smiles, I stick out my tongue - he sticks his right back at me, I giggle - he giggles right back, I make a frown - his eyebrows furrow and he doesn't smile (close enough!)
Life as a new mommy is so precious, wonderful, and I am loving it! I'm glad I get to be a stay at home mom, I can't imagine putting him in daycare or trying to find someone to watch him all the time so I could go to work, heck I've got enough to do at home to keep me busy and then some... managing a home while taking care of a baby is hard enough work all by itself... I don't know how women do it!
I've started a few projects: Once I finish them I'll post some pictures
Homemade Mobile for Mason's crib
A scrapbook for Mason
Duvet for Mason's crib
